Brief introduction of the Organisation

Introduction

Vista Sansthan is a voluntary organization working in rural and urban areas of Bhinder block of Udaipur district, since its inception in December 2007. Vista started working in parts of Udaipur City and villages of Bhinder and Gogunda mainly tribal dominated. Presently operating in Gogunda Block, district Udaipur.

Mission:

 To establish educational training institutes for the poor, deprived, children with special needs of learning and marginalized segment of the community with the skilled employment opportunities at local level to the unemployed youths and to infuse awakening among the community about education, health, environment, rehabilitation measures so that they can sustain and develop themselves to lead a respectable life in mainstreaming of the development of the nation.

Vision:

The poor, deprived, children with special needs of learning and marginalized segment of the community have the opportunities of education, skilled employment at local level, and community is awakened about the education, health, and environment, rehabilitation measures for a respectful life and contributing.

Area profile:

Presently Organisation is working in all Panchayats working inhabited mainly by tribal & other deprived community. The area is part of Aravali hills, which are short of plain agriculture field, common lands. Primarily tribal (Bhils) inhabits the operational village where we work, most of them are marginalized and live below poverty line. Organisation see its working for similar region of adjoining districts in the coming decade.

Vista works on “Educational training institutes for poor and marginalized community” as a catalyst and facilitator in the comprehensive and sustainable development of the under developed communities.

STRATEGY

 In all its working/operation organization follows the strategy of:

·         Running educational computer centers for all.

·         Running special centers for marginalized community with special features and facilities.

·         Initiation of value based activities through people centric approach.

With this strategy at hand organization will be identified in coming 10 years as a strong and effective institution to ensure and ascertain the development of the children and community through the establishment of the educational and computer institutes and other recreational activities in unreached area.

Major Activities of the Organisation

1. Running computer centers on nominal fee structure
2. Conducting special classes for the children who require special attention
3. Conducting separate computer classes for the poor, deprived children of the marginalized community.
4. Organising exposure, tour programme for the children
5. Survey, interaction with the community to identify the needs and requirements of the children and community.
6. Lisening and coordination with govt. departments and schools.
7. Organising short term camps on the computer education.

Objectives of the Organization

1. Creation of awareness generation on primary and secondary education.
2. To establish residential vocational, technical, educational training institute in order to contribute in the development of nation.
3. To establish special educational training institutes for the poor and deprived segments.
4. To provide development opportunities and counseling through the initiation of educational training institutes for the unemployed youths.
5. To do efforts for the physical, mental and personality development of the children.
6. To create awareness generation to stop the child labour and their rehabilitation.

8. Capacity building of women for their empowerment
9. To do efforts for the poor, destitute, handicapped, widow and helpless aged group.
